I know it's Dan but is there an actually a semi playable version of him???
It seems like the best version to me is the SNK vs Capcom Chaos version...

All versions of Dan are playable.
Don't you mean which Dan isn't suckish low tier.

Speaking of AI, you can pick anyone (including Dan) to fight AI opponents in games.

Against people, he's shit, SSF4 is no exception.

Every single version of Dan is beyond almighty. You never see him in tournaments because he's banned for being so incredibly fucking powerful.

Picking him is a gamble. If you lose, you look like a jackass for picking him. If you win, the other person is liable to headbutt a brick wall due to embarrassment.

alpha dan was ok, but that was before capcom gave him the joke status

There are some people that are really good at Dan.

I once saw somebody using his super taunt to evade an attack (the first time he rolls, so high attacks miss) and then combo it with an Ultra Finish. I was surprised there. He still lost, of course.

Agree, I testified that watching Dan players

SFIV and SFA3 are the best versions of him, also my favorite are both SVC SNKP did (MOTM and Chaos). I don't like how they did him in CVS series, I don't feel comfortable playing with him unlike the other games (and yes, I'm a Dan player)
