I was thinkin here about both universes of KoF and Fatal Fury when i came up with this question

What Terry is Stronger, in terms of Power, Skills, experience and etc? The Good and ol' Terry fom Fatal Fury/Garou series, or The Good and Ol'Terry From KoF series?

walt

If you've seen the OVAs you'd know Terry is like the Goku of the Garou Universe.

But then again, the Garou Universe is a small town story. KOF goes the lengths to worldwide threats :P

So, in a literary sense FF Terry is a hero, and KOF Terry is a fighter.

^ this
he's just your legendary hometown hero and in worldwide class he's a ordinary fighter although he is one of the strongest fighters.

Duos.act

I would say Garou Terry because he's more experienced, but I like the original better.

MDD

I read somewhere that if they really wanted to, both the AOF and FF teams could annihilate the other KOF teams, but there's always something in their way. Don't know if thats exactly true though.

MAO11

really? I can think of fighters who can match up against ryo, terry, kim and robert. like

Kyo
Iori
Kensou (dragon power)
rugal
k9999 or nameless
ash
ralph
clark
heidern
leona
shen woo
oswald

It's just an excuse to never state who's the strongest character/team story wise.

kim can hold up against terry right? and kim was defeated by freeman then possibly can fight terry he might not win but terry would definitely have a hard time dealing with freeman

the garou plot gives me the impression that terry and grant are completely above the other fighters, but they end up fighting between themselves and ignore the rest of the fighters/tournament. kind of like sf3 with ryu and oro.

kof is a bit weird in power levels, I remember reading that ramon k' and terry have about the same strenght, with ralf, kyo and iori being up there 8but ikari never wins becaus heidern always tells them to lsoe the fight).

Cashman

Fatal Fury/Garou Terry> KOF Terry
The Truth is, KOF Terry is just there. He shows up, fight people, and then gets Silly ending.
Really nothing worth Story wise on KOF Terry

well After KoF 97/98 and Garou:MoTW, Terry was nerfed moar than Paladins in World of Warcraft

In KoF, Y'all know that Fatal Fury Team always reach to the finals but what happen next? Someone With Mad Ninja Skillz appears and screws everybody and fight agains Kyo, Iori and K'(and maybe in the next KoF Kensou and his dragon power and Athena), the only way to terry returns with full power, its only if geese returns with the jin scrolls + orochi power + Mars Armor + Dragon Power(saiki doesnt count bcuz hes dead and his powers doesn't exist anymore) and maybe killing heidern,  defeating everyone with .kill command!

but this is not going to happen bcuz SNKPlaymore Doesn't want Another Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture Showing terry as a Godlike Tier character again

You mean MOTW plot?? As I know, Terry helps Rock to get into the finals to discover the truth and fight Grant to Rock get directly with Kain.
And I agree about Terry and Grant are way over the rest of fighters :D

MDD

Grant is way above the other fighters and that shouldn't be of debate of all. The fact that Terry can hold his own against him tells the same for him.

Of course, KOF is mosy likely an alternate universe where Terry is nerfed like hell.

Duos.act

Well Fatal Fury's universe is more tame than KOF's  I mean in KOF you have godlike beings and mutating people as opposed to Fatal Fury which is no less realistic than a crime action movie save for the special moves.  So I imagine Terry is probably not as strong in KOF.

MDD

Geese falling off a building and surviving is not realistic either. Also, what you say could also apply to the AOF series.

i cant count the reasons i should stay

one by one they all just fade away...

no gaoru manga, thegames.
I wonder how strong is terry in the dom universe, since that one is the best of them all.

The Ikari team always gets called away on duty in the middle of the tournament. I believe it's even been stated officially they could kick everyone's ass, too.

If it was hentai, it wouldn't even be a problem, but as it is, it's just cockteasing.

What's their excuse for Mai dumping Andy? I've always wanted to know that.
