Font Factory Problems

[Sean Altly]

This should be pretty cut and dry, but I tried to download Font Factory directly from VirtualTek's website so I could work on fonts for SHADEs of Manhattan 2, but Norton is refusing to let me install it. It keeps removing it without even asking me first and when I check Norton's history, I see that the threat was identified as "Severe/High." So basically, should I shut Norton off for a bit to download it, or is there really a virus or some high risk issue with Font Factory I should be aware of? Thanks for any help, and if this is the wrong board for this, feel free to move it.

do u think that its a virus or dangerous software  ?

if you download the program from the official site, don't worry its clear, its doesn't a virus or something like that.

norton is a crappy AV. Tell it to piss off. If it was something you got free, change virus scanners. Avast, AVG or Avira.
