Well I got a PSP  I was hoping to know more about the fighting games. I got Street Fighter alpha 3 max
and enjoyed it I got Darkstalkers chaos tower and did not.

Blazblue and Tekken for PSP.

They're easy to find.

Aside from those, there's also KOF: Orochi Saga and GGXX: Accent Core Plus.

GOH

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai too. Get that one too.

There is also a Soul Calibur and a fairly good Mortal Kombat one too.

I forgot about KOF getting a game on the PSP, but maybe thats because everywhere I looked never got any in or very little. When I buy a new PSP hopefully it'll be easier too fine.

Download it from PSN. You will NEVER find a UMD of it.

KOF: Orochi Saga for the PSP controls fairly poorly from my own trial of the game, not to mention that it stuttered during gameplay and has choppy sounds. While the former might have something to do with the fact I have a psp1000 model here, the stuttering and sound issues are a tad much. Can't really recommend it.

MDD

Strange. It feels fine to me and doesn't have any of those problems. Do you have the UMD or did you download it?

momo!

there are a few SNK arcade collections that have things like fatal fury or whatever and kof and some other games, those are available all over.

And if you're a fan of MK there's MK Unchained...

UMD version. I would have chalked it up to a faulty copy had I not found similar accounts elsewhere when it comes to this title. Perhaps the download version managed to fix a few things up?

S.D.

MDD

I have the downloaded version on a 3000. Aside from load times, there's no problems.

So yeah, PSN version probably fixed stuff.

Why do you people always do this? Ugh.

You never heard of Soul Caliber? Beats the shit out of that casual no guns Soul Calibur. It's from the genius minds of Modern Warfare.  8)

Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX is still pretty good.
It's pretty much arcade accurate, with the console version modes, plus the new characters from the GBA version, and Ingrid.

There's also Dissidia, which while not being too leaned for competitive play is still pretty fun and its commands were conceived with the PSP in mind - as much as I like the Capcom fighting games that use 6-button setups, at least to me the PSP isn't really an option for them it if means being forced to always use shoulder buttons to access all the regular attacks.

Samurai Shodown collection 1-6, it's decent... no SS5special, and 6 looks horrible, and load times increasingly get worse from SS3 onward.

Then fuck it, because SS5 fucking sucked. SP fixed all that was wrong with 5.

MDD

Samurai Shodown Collection had massive slowdowns DURING GAMEPLAY. That's why it sucked.

I dont know if anyone posted this, but Blazblue Calamity Trigger is on the PSP as well. However you might reconsider playing on the PSP since it wont allow you to use the analog stick for movement, which tends to be annoying if you play as Iron Tager.
