don't we regularly have this discussion and we say yes until a banned member starts sending stupid messages so we revert it to no and then a member wants to send messages and we change it to yes and repeat ad nauseum

far as I remember whenever they did that we just set their bans to "cant login" , we never reverted it, it got reverted with the last forum upgrade together with every other edit.

I dont know crap about forum coding so maybe I'll be off on this but...

How about creating 2 types of banned status? One banned type will have access to PM while the other wont and you can give silly names to the unable to send PMs one like SUPERBANNED or something!!!

Is that possible?

Val I'm still having that logout problem. It happened twice today. I set the login duration to "Day" and it logged me out twice during the afternoon.
