well i tried using the same angledraw with fvar again for my helper slowly and continuously increasing then decreasing in size. of course it works.

but i have one question.

why is the increasing and decreasing of the helper is not proportionate?

explanation:

the original size of the helper is the one at the left
when it increases or decreases, the helper visibly "goes down" (i meant that it increases and decreases in size faster at upper part than bottom part)

this should not be the case since the scale of angledraw are both the same for x and y by using the same fvar(#)

this wasnt much noticeable in my previous helper since the oval helper was rotated 90 degrees version of that oval in pic above. but now that the oval is "standing", its too noticeable and looks weird.

Cyanide knows what method I am talking about. Its actually from him. please help. thanks

Axis of the sprite must be directly in the middle in the .sff. If the image's total length is 120, then its y axis must be 60. If it doesn't halve perfectly, it still shouldn't be that noticeable. =p

what do you mean by "axis"? the "X-axis" and "Y-axis" of the sprite in sff in FF?
and how do i determine the center of the SFF? i only know the "ground level" of SFF

oh wait. the image size counts the extra stuff around the sprite right? i didnt have the sprites auto crop :\

If your sprite is 320x240, canvas and all, then you insert it at 160, 120 to center it. Center your sprite on the axis.

well the sprites in the group has different x and y axis even after cropping. but i used 1 sprite from the group and used it as reference for position. and it worked! now the scaling is smooth! XD

thanks rajah! XD
