Victory Screen? Like a victory quote? Or do you mean a victory win pose? Give me an example, and I can probably say yes or no to it. But either way, victory quotes can be done in Mugen 1.0, if that helps. :)

I'm pretty sure you can put music on continue screen. Although I could be wrong. There should be a way to do it though, if there isn't.

Finaly  :)
Yeah that's what i mean it's appear when you win the match i want it appear for the computer if the player lose the match .. is there a way for that ? ...

And about the music for the continue screen if there a way then tell me : how?

Sheng Long

To my knowledge, the win quote screen for mugen 1.0 seems to work for players. Considering since when you lose, it just shows the 'Continue?' screen. So I'm not really sure if you can make the quotes show up when you lose.

You could make an alternate quote system though that would work for both Mugen 1.0 and WinMugen. Just need images of the character's quotes within their SFF file, and trigger to show these images when you lose. ;)

I'm using mugen 1.0 with neon screenpack and i want the same victory quote from this screenpack appear to computer

Sheng Long

Then to my knowledge, I don't know of any way to trigger Mugen 1.0's win quote system when you lose. :(

Thanks anyway

The KFM motif that comes with mugen Has a game over screen. You could possibly use that.

LonePerson

What does this have to do with the music in the continue screen and victory screen to computer?...

That is what you said. Game over screens are used when you lose the match against a computer.

LonePerson

LoL  ;D .... did i really say that?  --; ..

take a look at my comment again : did you found any "Game Over" sentence in it?... of course not ..
all i said is "is there a way to make a victory screen appear when i lose the match against computer?

and : is there a way to put a music in the continue screen?"

Dylan Hlava

You said victory screen when you lose a computer. The computer beating you is known as a game over in fighting games.

LonePerson

who said that?... everyone playing fighting games know that this game over appear when you choose not to continue the game and beside i already have this game over in my screen pack .. what i want here is victory screen appear with quote from any characters when the player lose the match .. same when you beat the computer player in the match .. is that clear?

LonePerson

Ok .. thanks for trying to help me anyway .. but i still don't believe something like this not exist in mugen  :(

Dylan Hlava

Coding is as hard as hell. My best characters are just edits :(

Actually is not impossible, but can create problems.
I will try to explain.

If you are thinking to show the victory screen of the opponent when you lose match -> it is possible and will be not a problem. I don't know how the "victory screen" works in Mugen, however it will be possible thoughout CNS (I have to retrieve the mugen docs to find exactly the trigger I am thinking to). Simply you can make an explod that fills the screen after the victory animation ends, than activate 2 AssertSpecials (roundnotover and nomusic) during the time needed to show the victory quote. You need the assertspecial nomusic in order to deactivate stage music. You can also add a music effect to victory quote adding a PlaySnd (if sound inserted in character SND file)

If you are thinking to show the victory screen (or lose screen) of the character that losts -> even if could be possible (it is the same like before, except for the trigger) I highly suggest to DON'T do it. This becouse it can conflicts with other "victory quote" codes in other character. I am not sure about it but it seems to be better to don't code it.

2) the continue screen can play a music. You must set it in the screenpack code (system.def)

Hmmm ... i see  :( ..

But about the music in the countinue screen do you mean i must create it by myself in system def file .. or it was already there ? because i can't find it
