[SOLVED] Debug issue

I'm using Mugen 1.0 and for some reason, when I turn debug mode on, I do not get the "player clipboard" at the bottom left.  Any ideas as to why or how I can resolve this?

Ok, I've looked into it more, and it seems like the problem is that the debug menu is actually offset lower than it's supposed to be somehow:

You appear to be using an unusual resolution, what do you have it set to?

I've been using 1280x720.  In fact, it's the same resolution as the mugen screenshot for the kung fu man picture.  Also just to check, I super extended the vertical resolution so see if I could see the other information:

It is actually flat out missing.  Sort of makes debug mode useless...

Wow ok, so I was missing a font.  That was it.  I took the default font pack that came with MUGEN and dropped it in the folder just to see and it somehow fixed the problem
