i had a friend suicide 2 yrs ago and i didnt find out until february of this year


the time of date is irrelevant, granted its not "news"
i cant count the reasons i should stay

one by one they all just fade away...

This is crazy, didn't think people would actually even think of killing themselves because they couldn't get a job... I blame the Employers.

Then again, Maybe it's her fault.

Not even the lowest of jobs.

My question being, why can't she get a job after about 200 job interviews? I meant, it is natural to not get a job after a few failed job interviews. But 200? That is not natural. Especially with the lowest of jobs like monitors in hallways to waitresses in restaurants.

My opinion is that there is something seriously wrong with the way she is approaching the interviews. Maybe some coaching on how to do the interviews and catching any mistakes would be most helpful.

But my advice would fall onto deaf ears. After all, she's dead now. My advice does not benefit the dead.

I take frustration took over her. I've been rejected from over 20 or 30 interviews, so I know it's hard.

I guess so many failed job interviews can have that effect. After all, I have felt how painful a failed lead on a job search could be.

But ~200 interviews and still no job? I wonder what is she doing to fail all of those job interviews. Especially for blue-collar jobs. Last time I hear, they are not THAT picky on who they hire as long the applicant looks good.

Well I suppose after having that many failed attempts you begin to feel negatively about yourself. Useless, hopeless, frustrated with your attempts ending in failure, especially when you can't even get a simple job that isn't too picky.

I know all of that negative feeling from a failed job interview.

BUT:

My question is that, why SO MANY failed job interviews? I meant: 200 job interviews?! That is A LOT of job interviews, and this is coming from someone who STRUGGLES to get a SINGLE job interview. But the curious thing is that, even with such chances on her side, she failed to get to get a SINGLE job.

What is she doing wrong to fail all of those?
