I don't know why but I find the concept of Ultra New Mexico hilarious.

ULTRA NEW MEXICO

And to the absolute surprise of no one, the game is complete shit.
Seriously, they had 2 YEARS to work on this game and they still have these kindergarten level issues going on? Just...my god, the models are hideous, bugs and glitches out the ass, characters sharing the same voice clips and this is supposed to be released today or whatever. Come the hell on with this.

I preferred Super New Mexico.

Actually I think the game looks perfectly fine. Not my kind of game, but it seems like a perfect guilty pleasure for anyone who likes obscure 90s fighters that attempt to mimic Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat.

Umezono

i dont think it looks fine at all. the renders are amateurish, the designs phoned-in, and theres  a fine line between nostalgia retro and just bad

Dreams In Stardust

As dumb as this is all being laid out, I still hope that these issues are resolved.

I think it looks pretty okay, and I have a soft spot for cheesy, dumb sci-fi nonsense like this.

MightyKombat

Not just any New Mexico mind you. Its ULTRA New Mexico.
There was a sig here. Its gone now (thanks photobucket ya fecks)

would you really be that insanely defensive over a product if it were supposed to be as dumb as trio the punch though

Jango

insert generic "Maybe someone can rip the assets and do them justice in MUGEN" comment

although really the only character that looks "kinda" interesting is Leech.

MellyInChains

the thing is, to me, they had one decent design, the prisoner fellow with the crystal gun

of course, they had to edit his design because god forbid if this company is subtle in any way

Websta

I still can't get over Plasma's face. That bastard is ugly.

Huh.. Didn't realize they changed the "char select" portrait for both Plasma and Leach (Both have a different char select portrait at one point in early development. Why they had to change it is beyond me).

There's a reason for that "re-design":

The game was made in a different engine and moved to Multimedia Fusion (which is closed source). That would explain the glitches (especially if all the did was take the demo/beta and moved it to Fusion without making any adjustments to the code).

I didn't feel I was being that defensive.
I was trying to say that some people would enjoy certain aspects of it (even if only for 15 minutes), poor quality notwithstanding.

To answer the question: Idk honestly.

MellyInChains

not you. i mean the people actually making the game

Thank you for your feedback, and support
As you noticed, the software warned you that many files are missing, so the bugs your are experiencing are only related with the BROKEN file.  Too many people are downloading their version from our website and the server  it's "collapsing". The server is giving Uncomplete/broken files.
Of course when the server issue is solved we will give you the link again in order to let you download it again,in it's REAL form.
Our Best Regards
See, Necrostorm's programming isn't to blame, it's their server corrupting their files.

SMH so viciously right now

They wanted to resurrect the nostalgia of the 90's... they made a weird & shitty MK clone (not on purpose but yeah).
I think they succeeded in that part; they failed in making a quality game.
