So something that's been bugging me for a while...

If a user has entered a URL for their website in their settings, an earth icon will appear in their posts with a link to their website.
Why is it that when viewing the user's profile, this is not present?

I don't know if this matters, but none of the star images are loading in this thread (as of this post)

Same here, the stars can't be seen anymore. Also, you can delete my name from the list, since I'm not moderator anymore

I didn't know I was added under Fighting Games. Maybe the green star just doesn't show up or else I would of helped split some threads a while back.

Dont know if its happening on my end only but first when typing "mugenguild.com" It loads for a while then a message pops up saying that the site has a redirecting loop. Another is that the site's page comes up with other peoples sites on it but when clicking mugenguild to enter the forum its either a 404 error or redirecting shit comes up again. Not even googling mugenguild and clicking the the link lets you go in. The Browser I am using is google chrome. Ive delected all net catch and cookies to see if that was the case and nothing. Test on my tablet as well and its the same issues.

The only way I am able to get into the site is buy googling a threads name (IE: Mugenguild Finn and Jake) then click on the link to be allowed to entered.

GTOAkira

yeah it happen to me to i add to google a thread to acces the website
-STREET FIGHTER VI WAITING ROOM-
-DRAGON QUEST XII WAITING ROOM-

Valodim

oops, yes that's a problem on my part. busy atm but I'll fix it asap.

Bea

Clicking on the forum home button leads to a 404. :)

Edit: Actually, index.php isn't in the default document list, so linking to just http://mugenguild.com/forum/ causes a 404.

the default document list wasn't the problem, but the reverse proxy bit needed fixing. thanks :)

Are most guests still being directed to the maintenance mode forum on the old server? The DNS shouldn't be taking this long should it?
I ask because we've been only averaging like 1 guest since the switch. And yesterday the site was working fine for me at my home but still going to the old server/forum at my mom's. I just figured it was a DNS thing but now I'm wondering if it's something else.

Won't know if it's still the old forum at my mom's till Friday.

Valodim

there was indeed an issue with guests and ip handling. fixed. this was not dns-related though. dns can take a day or two to propagate if some servers cache more than they are supposed to, but it's unusual. please do report if this is fixed tomorrow :)

I can't see the Reports.

Spoiler: image of the error (click to show)

The Report section, not the Reports (I can see those).

Valodim

fixing the search daemon required some reconfiguration which didn't go quite as smoothly as it could have, sorry for the downtime.

writing a complex post I can search for to test the search daemon delta index rotation
