For many years, I thought this project was finished and wouldn't be no more updates to it. Then a friend showed me this:


SCWU is back with a complete new edition released for 2014's X-Mas: New characters, new stages, improved gameplay, an option for 3on3 a la KOF and so on. I've to tested by myself, but what I've seen is wonderful

And that's all from me, there're a lot of shots more on the website, as well a complete new website, sadly just in japanese and chinese only, but at least it's understable since main menu buttons are in english, so isn't that hard at all

I don't know to be extremely angry or happy... I don't really see new characters in those shots, though. Maybe there will be a DBZ, Kinnikuman or GS cosplay.

Until now, the new characters are these 2 in the artwork: Aya and Yinan. I'm pretty sure there're more than those 2, but as I said before, I didn't play it yet, but I'm pretty sure this game has an improvement (I want to see some of the bosses and secret chars with new and completed moves this time)

Well, after trying, at least with Giant, who I always use, it feels essentially the same, but with a VS screen. It might be different for other characters, though.

Always been meaning to try this, just couldn't remember the name. Liking Sww alot so far.

One of the more notable changes is how auto combos do less damage but the last hit can be canceled by everyone now. Before it was character dependent. Some are slower while others have new properties like ground bounces etc. A few chars have new lvl 3s that were based on moves that were removed a long time ago. Sin has his old lvl 3 back from the beta and it's glorious.

As usual with 2dfm games you can luna port this so online is an option.

this game is ancient with only updates backing it brah. Everything about it is meant to look low budget because it was. The team who made this went on to make Chaos Code.

As for how this game works unless I find another tutorial on it I plan on writing one to break it all down because while it is simple, there's a lot of silly things to be explored in it.

The newer characters have decent portraits (And sprites) though, it really show they've been making progress.
Some EX characters are fun.

Say, I do recall seeing a Ryu dressed up as Mario floating around somewhere on MUGEN.

Is this game where the character came from?

yes it is. Rario is it's name. however in this game hes a bonus like character who can't play arcade properly. mugen rario plays nothing like the source though.

He might just be unfinished, though. There's two versions in this, one that can only uppercut, and one that has a few attacks.

He is? I found he had some decent 3-hit combos... I even beat T-tiro easily with him. But, there is a version that can only crouch, and do a uppercut that takes 5 seconds.

Zenka is probably going to get flak for having absurd stuff but I find her hilarious and fun.

she's a boss char. if it were up to me I wouldn't allow her at a tournament. Any boss char really. Especially alpha he has auto ressurection
