ScreenPack problem

Hey there i have a problem with installing screenpacks ,i wached tutorials on how to install one and i do exaclty the same but when i start the game is shows  the same window as the original mugen,i tryed different screen packs and they dont work what could the problem be?i am useing mugen 1.0 please help .

You changed the system.def inside the Data folder?

Make sure to open up mugen.cfg and edit the line
data\mugen1\system.def
or
data\system.def
to whatever folder the screenpack's in.
