Evo champs out and 3 japanese players and 2 south american players in top 8 .. yo...

And one old school MvC2 player.  He's going to torch the Asians away.

[SNT]

YOU ARE A MORTAL NOW!

God, the JWong vs. KBR set made me cry. Nico has been training so hard for the last three years and now he's in top 8. Shit, it was already really hard to not being there, now I won't be able to cheer for him today.

Very fitting avatar.

[SlySuavity]

And thus, it begins.

[Kirishima]

Love the montage of previous GG titles in that vid intro.  Hellpockets to come up with epic commentary like it's 2012.

IT'S TIME FOR ANIME

Question.  Had Vans ever been spotted on stream?  Was watching the pools but haven't seen him.

[SlySuavity]

Not that I've noticed. As an aside, the way this game implements the 2D aesthetic is remarkable.

Edit: that Faust wake up grab. Damn.

Don't think they aired his matches, sadly.

Why isn't "The Spider's Thread" playing here?

I'm cool with this one either way.
