that sounds like a really dumb idea, making ryu's specials too safe just doesn't sound like a good idea.

I didn't say make it to safe I'm saying even after the move fully connects and does all the hits there's nothing he can do after, block,  shoryuken, or even a super its not safe to do in any situation. I should've worded it better I really only meant the tatsu

Huh, that's how Ken's Tatsumaki has been in most games; it doesn't knock down but it does good damage (and many hits) to compensate it.
