Before anyone says "Read docs."  I know how to make stages.. they're usually easy.  My palettes are set up just fine with the right colors in the right places.  While I'm setting things up in FF3, everything works fine.. the color I want is the transparency color...  However, once I open Mugen to check placements, my transparency color..  is not transparent at all..

Edit: Never going to be good at this apparently..  I forgot to tag my floor with "Mask = 1" and had something sticking up as a wall on the side...

What did you use to index your sprite, photoshop?

Unfortunately my price range is Gimp.  xD    And with Gimp you have to drag the desired color up to the front manually... and I know I didn't miss that step.   I'm sure it's something stupid..  I always miss some minuscule detail.
