So im used to using a small localcoord (426.66,320.25) and it works GREAT, but to get the right quality i've always had all my stages with a zoom 0.8.

I recently thought id try what others seem to do and use a standard localcoord on a SP that uses it for ports.

Problem is, 0.8 zoom makes the chars look REALLY bad, im talking jaggedy and blurry which i've always hated. 0.7 seems to be fine though.

However this of course means that some stages i use will look off...

One example is AP_Village by Excaham, that stage is tiny af to begin with but i LOVE it. I managed to get it to work with my old mugen by making alot of edits to the values in the DEF.

But when i try to on this new way...its tiny and surrounded by a black border. I tried changing the localcoord to 640,480 and it seems to work fine in terms of the image...but the camera is WAY off.

I tried changing the boundlow but it only goes up to 50 and any value higher doesn't do anything. Of course, changing the Zoffset fixes the camera when put to 0 (default is 660 for this stage) but then the chara's are walking way high up on air.

Anyone have any ideas?

Bump, does no one have a solution for this? I've managed to semi fix some stages by messing with verticalfollow and the localcoord, but it doesn't work on some stages.

Mainly this one and AP Rainy Ruins.

Try Playing around with the tension, maybe :D And to get rid of that Annoying localcoord work. Go to your mugen.cfg and turn of stagefit ;)
