Clones can be helpers or badly done explods. Without knowing what you've done or how you've done it nobody can actually help.

Turn on debug. Does the clone have an axis and hitboxes? If the answer is YES it is a helper and has been spawned by the player in some way.
If it does not it is an explod

When does the clone spawn. At the start of the match or during some move? Look in the cmd for the move, find out what state it is. Open the cns files and find that state. In that state will either be an explod, or a helper. Post it here and if it is a helper, post the helper state.

TBH if anyone released something with a pointless clone in it you probably don't want it anyway. That's an obvious bug that should be fixed before the character goes out for anyone.

Malevka, he kinda was askin' about more specific info. If you really want is to help you, then be ready to answer everything we ask.
What move exactly makes a clone to appear? Can enemy hit him?
Also be ready to make screenshots, share with us codes of that move and give any extra explanations we need. Got it?

I don't know which would be the problem, but the shot saw me it's probably a helper released as a projectile or something. If you don't want to get a clone, you should avoid that helper would be hitted to start. Put this in the code:

It's for prevent before fix, the helper won't be hitted, and then, the clone won't appear. Put that code in the helper states so they can't appear again.

Also, can you put the download link (at least in PM) to know exactly the problem so anyone here can help you with this?? I mean, words won't help to fix your char, we need to see the code and how it works to see the root of the problem
