pallette question

hi to everyone,

i have a question, i want to change the pallette in my char. but the char have the same color always, i tried to change the number of the pallette in the .def file, but when i play it. the char always stay in the same pallette color. (always the 0,1-pallette)

Can you show that file how you try?

The default palette of any character always has to be 1,1

The 1,X group is whats reserved for palettes, so the fact that every sprite has group 0,1 applied to it is why the palettes aren't working. There are no sprites linked to 1,1 so no sprites are changed to 1,2 (pal 2) for example.
