That's what I thought too when a friend PM'd it to me. For the first few hours the meme hasn't registered yet so I was ignoring it on Facebook. First time watching it I thought he punched him. Then I had to watch again. It was a slap. Then I watched the rest of the video. I finally got to enjoy all the memes.

it's staged , you can see chris was gritting his teeth and even leans forward way before even smith raised his hand. they do that every year. didn't a few years ago it was slim shady or whatever the fuck his name is getting "accidentally" got a dick on his face.
