I searched on Wayback Machine and it's the f-word against gay people. The word filter is probably because of that mugen site.

Hello.

I'm here just to apologize for the thing I did a week ago here on forum.
I had a mental breakdown which led me to do something really freaking retarded.

Basically I was depressed in past few months after that one drama happened with one specific person.
There was this one idea in my head of me taking the responsibility for something I clearly didn't do just because I felt bad for the person who did such a thing.

It was all a "well thought out" lie just to make that one person not look bad.

As an adult I am ashamed of what I did and I hope I never do such a thing again (and never let my emotions take control of me like that anymore).

I've been curious: what's been the state of the Guild/Mugen community in general?  Lately it seems like all I'm seeing is:

• Posts here in the Guild every now and then (maybe like 1-2 every few hours).  Someone is still keeping the lights on (thanks for that!)
• Drama is still a thing.
• Occasional new releases.
• Ikemen GO/Mugen alternatives are thriving.

• Drama is still a thing.

• Ikemen GO/Mugen alternatives are thriving.

It may seem quieter because most of the chatting is going on over on our Discord. Don't worry, you still see frequent releases around here, it's just that the discussion side of things is not as strong as it was back then.

Maybe I'm just talkin' out my ass, but social media did make a dent in the forums of old, and Discord (in general) helped come to that faster than others before it, like Skype or MSN. Hard to want to wait for replies nowadays when you can just get one lickety-split elsewhere.

The only issue I have with that is when there's stuff that should be public knowledge - like, for example, labbing characters in a fighter for all info - is locked behind a Discord you have to join if you want to know more, which is constantly under the whims of a moderator with a hair-trigger temper to just delete it all because they've won two out of fifty matches.

...I might be exaggerating for effect, here, but I'unno. Maybe it's just my preservation rib rearing its head.
