The first animation we made in the CvS style, and consequently the first sprites. This happens when Kyo loses by Time Over. These sprites were made completely from scratch. We use CS made by Jmorphman. We made it specifically for Kyo-1 and Kyo-2.


What do you think? With your opinion, we can improve a lot in making sprites. If this is not the correct post for it, we will ask someone to move it. We really appreciate it.

The animation (and sprites) actually look pretty good! But I feel like the proportions of the arms are a bit weird (maybe the shoulders a bit too), maybe I would recommend a CVS stylization (I advise you to look at Original and Imitation CVS Sprites for references)

Very good animation, but Kyo's shoulders in CvS sprites are broader than that, along with his arm looking a bit too skinny for his CvS design. Definitely recommend comparing it with his CvS sprites more to make it more consistent

Guys, do you have any feedback on the kolin stance sprite? And does the height seem good? The first sprite belongs to Pin-point, the second is an edit of mine from the first and the third sprite would be the stance.

Looks very good. Doing some research, Kolin and Chun-Li are about the same height. Kolin is 5'6" (168 cm) while Chun-Li's height varies throughout the series between 5'5" (165 cm) and 5'7" (170 cm). In your sprite it seems she is a bit taller... I feel like her legs are a bit too long compared to Chun's, it is more visible comparing both right (viewer's left) legs. But still, very nice work!

About Tsugumi she would be shuch a great character...

As a feedback I made an animation with my EDIT.

Basically it's all about CVS female characters proportions. narrow shoulders, big head, pretty face, big thighs, thinner calves, thinner ankles ankles.
+ some minor tweaks.

So, I think my CVS style sprite of Yagumo from Kabuki Klash didn't turn out as well as I thought, so I decided to remake it.

I tried my best using Fighter Factory and Aseprite.

Great job. Displayed a better use of anti-aliasing and understanding of CvS shading. Anatomy/size for the head, breasts, and feet looks better. I would have kept the legs slim from your first sprite and idk the knee looks a lil off but that may just be me. I'd say maybe the white portion of the fans(?) weapons need some slight shading. Looks like you used Mai as a reference perhaps. In all, great improvements all around.
