SimpleMUGEN: Simplistic MUGEN Battle 2021 (IKEMEN GO 1.0 UPDATE)

Greetings and great update! I was recently using Ikemen GO version 98, and I'm trying to transfer everything to the new version, but I can't because there's no FAQ or anything like that in the archive... How do I install the screenpack? Please help!

Yeah, don't waste your time on that because the screenpack updater will mess things up. The only solution is to create a folder and transfer most of the content, and you recreate that folder to adapt to the newer version of New Ikemen Go Nightly. If you like, please send me a private message and send me the screen pack, and I will make a video guide in baby steps on how to take a screen pack that was from Ikemen Go 98.2 and transfer it over to the new Ikemen Go 1.0, but keep this in mind: don't get used to asking me again to transfer other screen packs because I won't, but I love to teach you in a video guide. And how long are you willing to learn?

my only feedback i can get for this screenpack is i can't get rid of the black bars even if i disable keep aspect ratio because the scrolling of the words "get ready for the next battle" goes through the black borders at the victory screen

same with the character select screen with the scrolling of the words "select your fighter"

I also tried to activate the aspect in 16:9 and to change the resolution, but nothing

this screenpack is made for 4:3 resolutions and I have no plans on making a widescreen version.

You can use the Reshade plugin to stretch it to 16:9 without the need; there are a lot of videos on YouTube you can follow. Ikemen support reshader.

⁣  loved the new update; it's sad you disappear again once you're happy with the result. I've always loved your screen pack ever since you made it for Mugen. I'm happy you're still going at it, but also a little bit surprised you're still making it great. Hey, did you ever try my screen pack? The Infinite Character Arena? Anyways, I took it down because no one here gives a damn about it, so I removed it. but you still growing strong with yours

Go to the option on video settings and find the aspect ratio and set it to default, then set it to stage mode. That will fix your problem.

ok i have to change resolution in order for that to happen and it works switching it to 640x480 because anything higher than that results in black borders

screenpack has been updated with some visual tweaks made to the versus screen. the 'more slots' def has been omitted as this screenpack now utilises a modified version of scristopher's selectplus.lua.
