All I can say it better not be "meh" like the last one. That strategy mode or whatever was so tedious and boring.

I liked III. That game was awesome. Customization options up the ying yang, tons of levels and characters from the JUMP to play as, plus half the roster were unlockables, tons of extra features, complete with thorough story and training modes. What else could you ask for in a fighting game?

Then again, you guys are waiting for Super Street Fighter II' Turbo HIGH DEF 2007!

Good fighting?

S.D.

The create a character mode was pretty limited.
Also, hateable AI, those are my only gripes, the OST rocked.

SC fighting engine is pretty damn good. If you're complaining about THAT, then I dont know what to say.

Kung Fu Man

More versatile creation mode (let us modify the damn models, even if half the players would make females with huge boobs) and the return of Charade (hey, he looked cool) would keep me happy as far as this game goes :P

Jesuszilla

What KFM said.

Hey, I LIKED character creation and all, but having to play through that strategy mode to get the parts was boring. Half the time you're sitting there waiting for your freakin' troops to move.

walt

I have a friend, that unlike JZ, had a blast playing through strategy mode.

If you didn't like waiting or playing for unlockables ...

... You can just cheat :rugoi:

Kung Fu Man

The strategy game was a blast actually. The thing that just ticked me off the most was it felt like the characters I'd cook up were only cosplays. It's sad when Mortal Kombat has a deeper creation mode than SC3 :P

RDZreborn2k5

I hopeing that SC4 has a create a soul mode like in SC3.

The SC community's one of the most pessimistic community to ever grace the internet. With people such as Jaxel hanging around you just can't have a great time on the forums anymore.

Other than that,OMG OMG OMG! SC4! :o

Everything KFM said, except for the "charade part" (SC3 was the first game of the series I played, so i don't know about who is he talking about).

I would like have the creation mode to allow you to actually customize the overall shape of the head, instead just choose from 12 faces, but every single one with the same structure...

i want to get myself in the game dammit  >:(

Kairi

All I have to say, is that it was better than nothing. Sure, I would welcome improvements, but the actual game doesn't suffer because of an EXTRA mode that you never have to even touch.

A CotS sequel is in order. I need to know what happened to the player and Luna after he game. :(

Dampir

don´t get me wrong......all the stages look good...specially the ones that did appear in soulcalibur(from dreamcast)....

the playability is more easy(many people can get easily in the game engine)....

among other things remember you had to play all the training mode(the basics for each char) to unlock a weapon, you had to do the same with all the chars more than one time i got sleepy unlocking that weapon...

..and that night terror(the transformation of nightmare) seemed to be a char out of place,i mean what is next, screw up more the game adding fireballs laser beams,i just remembered gon in tekken 3 trowing fireballs(nobody could block them) i dunno i still like more SC2 than SC3

Kung Fu Man

Night Terror was broken on purpose: he's basically the big bad boss meant to give the player hell if they meet the requirements to meet him. Definately a character never intended to be playable.
