It's true that if you own a PS3 then all arguments made by those who don't have one are invalid.

What do you mean it sux? It's like the greatest fighting game out there since street fighter II! lolz. Well i've tried the torrents before, but had absolutely no idea of how to run it. I went on for days just trying to make it run, but i had no dice w/ that matter. >_<

VS series seems noobish to me, combos are really easy, its broken, and they have alot of infs.

There are infinite combos in almost every fighting game :\
you can't mixup a blind man, and you can't out think a brick ~skisonic
Street fighting is all about analysis, prediction, and reaction. That's it.

Jesuszilla

MvC has more than average, though. Not to mention that it places too much importance on cheapness rather than skill. Sup Magneto, Storm, and Psylocke make an appearance in nearly every damn team in a tournament.

Did you meant MvC2?
Because MvC is extremely awesome.

Jesuszilla

Yeah, that's what I meant. I liked the first one a LOT. Mainly because Rockman made his first appearance to the vs. series in it. Plus the music kicked ass.

I don't like MvC2 either. Well I don't really dislike it, but I sure as hell don't think it's as great as everyone says it is. It rewards learning how to exploit cheapness rather than rewarding skill. Just my opinion at least.

The PS2 version is supposed to be a pretty bad port. Even though it's the only version I've played, I can somehow tell it's the inferior version. There's something overall sloppy about it. Or maybe that's just the game normally.  :S

Well, me too, I am also finding it too and it is hard to find in my country, most of the shipping in amazon can't ship to my home area. Maybe should try ebay..... :S I don't use bittorent either, it will damage my PS2 system, I played in chankast emulator with mvc2 bittorent, I just want to get the original and delete the pirated  ::)

Uhh... no it doesn't.

I was lucky enough to find it in the first shop I looked. It was really cheap as well. But torrents are your bet bet.

Shindoh

Well, eBay anyone??  o_O
It´s like the biggest worldwide marketplace and easiest way to get your stuff, or try www.play-asia.com !
If you´re registered on PayPal, you basically have no limits! ;D

On PS2? Try either Ebay or your local game store, But make sure you have an older PS2 because MvC2 is on a CD, not a DVD. And the newer ones (slim) can't read CD-ROM games, or at least I think... Anyways, expect a price between $30 and $60. Luckily I have a DC, so I can play the better version!

Woohoo! My WIP is actually Pac-Man! Sweet.

This might help, not only can you buy games, you can look for people who are looking to trade games, I havn't tried it, but my bro says he gets some of his rare games from here. but you might want to watch out for people who is in it just to make a quick buck or two.

The sound quality on the PS2 version sucks, that's what it is.

Indeed.
Screw the gameplay, the OSTs were epic up to MvC.
And it was absolute CRAP (And I'm not just talking about the awful select screen bgm) in MvC2, what the fuck happened Capcom?!
