When was the first time when you played your first fighting game experience and where?Tell here...

Mine...hehe...my mom liked and enjoyed the Videogames..(heritage I think from her ..).and I played with her Street Smart..and after that Sf 1 in arcades...I was 5 years old.... ;D
I still remember when I lose against Joe in SF 1...

I have no idea.

I was fairly late coming to fighting games...

I think I first played MK1 on my Megadrive. Years later I played Marvel VS Capcom and SFA3 on the PSX. Then later on still I discovered Arcade emulation. So I got CPS2 roms. After a while I discovered KOF as well. Yeah, I'm not too sure.

However, that's only 2D fighters. I was always a fan of the Tekken series and Soul Blade during the late 90s.

I would have to say ... I can remember the actual ORDER I played Fighting Games in.

Fatal Fury 2 -> Street Fighter 2 -> Marvel vs. Capcom 2 -> CvS2

Yup. Between SF2 and MvC2, I was all MMORPGs.

Also, to this day, I have never played a single Mortal Kombat.

Mine was MK2. Until Tekken 3 came out, MK was the only fighting game series I really ever had the chance to play. I think I played Street Fighter 2 and I played Eternal Champions once before (at the time).

So, yeah, I grew up on Mortal Kombat early on.
QuoteImagine a zanguief runing to attack ryu, ryu does a quick+kind of weak fast punch and hit the chest of zanguief, will this punch be enough to zanguief say/think \"oh no, this punch hurted a little, I better stop the attack and put my hand on my chest to help contain the pain while ignoring if ryu is going to make other attacks now"

If someone isn't able to get girls laid, why buying this exorcist needing piece of retardet piece of bullshit an not wisiting his local red light district. For that money he could  :hump: tons of hookers.

I played alot of platformers as a kid, but I was kinda bummed out that I was missing out on all the fun, so one day my cousin was nice enough to let me play that dramaric battle type thing in the Sega Saturn version of SFA1 (or 2, don't remember) and I kicked bison's ass playing as Ryu.

My first combo was two standing low punches then a hadouken. I was hooked ever since that day.

I come from a real small town (population counted on two hands), and any trip to the big smoke was to be savoured.  In the lobby of the bowling alley was an arcade machine, with this guy in blue and black pyjamas freezing this other guy, then smacking him in the jaw so hard he threw him into the air.  I thought this was radically awesome.  Then blue pyjamas guy ripped out the other guy's spinal cord.  And my eyes fell out.  It took me nearly a month to find out the name of the game, and that's how Mortal Kombat got me started on fighting games.

Way of the Exploding Fist on the AmstradCPC464 was my first fighting game.  I then played Kung-Fu in the arcades... then years after, Streetfighter.
Street Fighter 2 came out, but I got hooked on Fatal Fury.  Fatal Fury 2 wasn't bad, but didn't have the same passionate 'feel' as the SF games, until Fatal Fury Special came out... I fell in love, and years later, I'd buy a NeoGeo for Fatal Fury Special alone. (Emulation wasn't really around then)  Haven't looked back really... I still play KOF'98 on my AES from time to time. :)

Hmmm... I think it was One Must Fall: 2097 at my cousins grandparents house. I loved and still love that game, Then it was SFII for the SNES, Then MvC2 (I skipped alot), And now MUGEN. I guess I'm pretty much a Capcom Kid.

Woohoo! My WIP is actually Pac-Man! Sweet.

Street Fighter 1.

I still remember that lousy intro where some badass blonde dude breaks the wall with a punch and then turns his back and walks away ... he was NOT Ryu or Ken. WHO THE FUCK WAS HE?

People would only play versus like once a day to see the blonde karateka in red  :sugoi:

I started in the arcades as a young little boy.  I recall playing the first Street Fighter, but I'm not sure which fighter was truly the first I ever played (too young to remember!).  Street Fighter II at the arcades definitely was the first I got hooked on though.  One random thing I recall about it was immediately being impressed by the smoothness of the health bar when your health goes down, and also how much health you lose by even small hits.  It just made me think "Wow this game is serious!"  ...yeah don't ask why that impressed me... I was only 6 or 7 even then.

Then right after the first version of SFII came out on Super Nintendo I picked it up and played it connnnstantly.  After playing that for a year or two straight (while also playing Final Fight), I got big into Mortal Kombat II and Samurai Showdown.  After that, I was all over the place.

Errr, was it Cody?  That's what I always thought.... same with Street Fighter II's intro.  Afterall, Final Fight was at first planned to be the next Street Fighter early on, so it makes sense.
