My only concern is that since I didn't make the sprites that way, I'm not exactly sure how it will look on him (and no, I'm not color-separating his sprites more to support sleeves).

Light shading is there since its meant to be true to the smurfs colour.

Fix the shading on the blue dots on Toad's head and make his eyes black, and you have a winner.

Yeah I finally started compiling his SFF/coding his moves/adding palettes/etc etc

Which type of attacks he will have??

I forget if I mentioned it here, but he will mainly have attacks similar to most Street Fighter Chinese characters (like Yun/Yang/Fei Long/etc.) but also stuff that pays homage to his Mario roots (like vegetable toss/that spore thing that happened when Peach used the Down+B attack in SSBM).

Toad black palettes work really good because he's treated like a slave in the Mario world.
