Kens hairstyle looks sorta like sonic or knuckles xD!

The hair was all drawn by me not ripped from some chars hair

I'm just going to go out on a limb and guess that you smudged that hair in Photoshop or used the Clone Stamp tool.

The extensions that you've added dont mesh with the original hair, it looks like it's behind the head.

I did neither i used pencil tool o.o

But i see what i did wrong i put the layers of hair behind the original sprite so it looks like it doesnt fit, ill upload a updated image later

tempest: really, try to learn some sprite editing if you are going to critique sprites in a technical way. i have noticed some of your critics are way off, mostly because you don't really do spriting, thus spouting nonsense some times.

Uhhh... I dont need to know technical terms of sprite editing to know what looks fucked up. I use the knowledge I have to critique the best of my ability. Notice how I haven't once brought out the "shading" aspects of any of the edits that I have CnC'd?

i am not dismissing any opinion, i am pointing out that trying to sound technical when you don't know what you are talking about is highly not recomendable. it is like talking about car races when you ride horses, you can comment like a laiman but using technical horse terms when talking about cars gets counterproductive.

Uh, it does look smudged. Look doesn't fit, shading style too far off, pillow shading actually, doesn't make much sense.

oh i ahd the same misunderstanding, but when  i looked at the sprite i also noticed it read ssj ryu and ssj ken in the low part of the sprite.

Thank you for the criticism im kinda new to sprite editing and i got bored and was messing with there hair, actually i named it ssj because thats the hairstyle non ssj is downwards but to be truly ssj it must be yellow i see the point.


Tempest guys please don't fight and get my topic locked its not that big of a deal ^^

apparently you don't because had he smudged a sprite over a black background it would have a way higher color count due to antialiasing. same for cloning.
