HD Iori and other stuff

After a long time I watched the Another Day OVA again and I felt like drawing Iori who along with K' was the coolest character.

Uncoloured because I suck at it. A 1.8 MB PNG. Feel free to do whatever you want with it. I'm also leaving the sketch in case you consider the retracing sucked like I do.

It's easier to draw HD stuff, believe it or not, so I won't have problems making the standing animation but I don't think I can draw all of the sprites to make it a MUGEN char. Oh yeah, if any of you decides to colour it please post it.

I think the shoulders are too broad, but that may be because the head is too small. I like the size of the head, though, its proportional to the limbs, just not the hands.

The head is supposed to be smaller than the body to make it look more muscular besides I like it the way it is, but anyway if you think it's incorrect, here's an edit:

Believe me the way you made it its cool with me I tend not to edit other peoples work, it was just to give a variation.  Hehe my bad I respect each artist style. I can remove the edit if you want.

Heh. Kyo's a biznatch to draw for me, especially in his fight stance. And then there's the parted hair. And when you think about it, all he ever really does is point with his finger being cocky.

Anyway, he looks pretty good to me, and the chain is awesome, except he looks a little squat. Or that could be my laptop screen. But that's not even a big deal anyway.

...And Iori did use to smile while standing. I don't know when they got rid of it, either '99 or 2000.

Wow, this is definitively a keeper (right click -> downloads).

Lineart is very good, size of head is fine for me.
Colouring is fabulous too. I realy like how you color now without using the outlines, but only shading. Removes some of the "comic book" touch, but makes it even more beautiful IMO.

And the extra is very well done. Fabulous shading and light effects.

Little thing : on his right hand, one finger is missing a little part of the outline, and the upper part of one outline is a bit too straight IMO. Other than that, PERFECT !!!
