Problem installing stages

Whenever I try to install a stage, i download the 2 files, put them in my stages folder, and add them on the select.def file. But when I do that, everytime I try to play in that stage, the floor of the stages is set higher than the floor of where my characters are standing and half my background is black. What am I doing wrong here. The default stages are fine. It's only the ones I add that are messed up.

There is a hi-res mugen that suports non hi res stages, is hosted @ randomselect
