i created a helper
which disappears when the anim is over

.
.
[State 3165, end]
type=destroyself
trigger1= !animtime

but what must i add to the trigger to make it also disappear when i get hit and cancel it with another attack?

You can use redirection for this, for example

parent, statetype = H  will be true when the character that spawned it is in a gethit state, however this will also trigger whenever the character blocks.

Look in exp.txt in your docs folder for more info on how to use redirects.

hmm im doing something wrong it seems  :S
"library error: died parsing parent = statetype = H"

i can't just paste it in i assume then

[State 3165, end]
type=destroyself
trigger1= !animtime
trigger2=(parent,movetype=H)

it works, thanks!

Nononono noticed I used a comma in there.

The format is
TARGET, TRIGGER
