Coding Dual Super Arts

[Young Shimaiuskoo Doh]

Is it possible to code another character to perform a Super Art just as you perform a Super Art?

For example, using MvC characters, Ryu lets loose with Shinkuu Hadou-Ken. His teammate, Strider Hiryu, compliments with Legion, at the same time.

I want to do that without using the Tag patch.

If it's possible, how do I do it?

Some sort of helper for Strider set as a striker maybe?

Thanks for your reply!

Not as a Striker/Assist.

Wait, is that the only way it can be done?

Ryu and Strider Hiryu are one the same team in Team Arcade. Hiryu is CPU controlled. When Ryu uses Shinkuu Hadou-Ken, Hiryu would automatically use Legion.

Call a striker/assist/whatever, they're there to help ya out. So, I would imagine having a helper of strider to come out, then your superpause is timed right to activate, then have your helper timed right to perform whatever it is you want him to, them kill it off.

For team battle mode I don't see how it's possible, since you're using an entirely different character in it. The only other thing I can suggest is code a helper strider that is constantly following you around (like Duck King's Duck) and have some code setup to activate this double super arts barrage.

I hope I'm explaining myself right. Perhaps someone else can offer some feedback?

Good info.

I was thinking it'd be possible, like the way one Character has a specific intro against a specific character (ex. Ryu and Ken - Street Fighter Alpha 3).

Its possible. Check Gundam Wars help section, they have a tut on how to do it.

Really?

Thanks, you chaps, for your help!!
