i will just add that tecmo is not shy about shutting down sites or sending cease and desist or even suing someone who uses their IP, whether or not they make profit of it (google for the ninja hacker case). and knowing the buch of pervs at tecmo they must already know about mugen and about raiya; so i guess they are ok with oherman'ss stuff.

besides, after a while, it'd be easy to get tired of mugen since there would be no storyline!
this shouldn't be limited to raiya, and maybe the conversation dialogue is a bit dull,

I'm not a thief, or Noob, but i would sure recognize where this dialog came from. 

@DizzySoldier: if i were you, i would send Alice an E-mail asking for authorization. Otherwise, this will sure lead to a bigger problem then what you think.

What would be nice, if it works, is if we, the other mugen users, can do something similar. I'd like to see a serious attempt at dialogue and a decent story mode. Can we edit your works Dizzy?  8)

Though mine would consist of Ryu asking everyone "Are you the strongest fighter around?" bit boring that.

I planning to talk with Herman to make Raiya open source, and once I'm finish with Raiya, You can use my code as a open source. I probably put some tutorial up, also. I'm planning to consider Eric Basara character, and Tetsu character to have dialogue too. But that will only happen once I finish with Raiya. Or else, this whole project is a failure.

P.S: Also, I'm not planning to ask permission from the original creator. It contradict my belief.

I know what you saying. But pretty much, I don't really care what the community will do. If they wanna flame me for creating some entertainment. Then flame away. Ain't like I'm losing money every time people flaming me.
I'm not working for recognition here.
I'm not working because somebody told me to.
I'm working because I like to offer entertainment.

all i can say is I'm sorry.

"Respect" happens when you treat someone as your equal. this means that you do to that person what you want people to do to you.
If you want people to Respect your work (by giving you proper credit) you should respect their work as well (by doing whatever that person believes its needed to get his/her permission).

Once you do that, people will be more willing to listen to your ideas. and even accept them.

and if you don't care about the community, why did you announce it here? you could simply do that entire work without any of this conversation and release on your site. without even announcing it here and without any of this.

You don't want your actions to contradict your believes. but they are contradicting your words.
