Ive gotta really quick question, how do ya alter how strong a special attack is???
You can't hit what you can't see.....

First off look for the character's CNS file. The character's CNS file is located in the character's folder. Right-click this file and click Edit.

In the character's CNS file, look for the Hitdef of the attack.

In the Hitdef, look for something like this:

damage = (whatever the number is)

Increase the value a little, save the file, and check MUGEN to see how much damage is dealt from the attack.

Continue to change the value until you get the desired result! 8)

Another way is modifying the overall attack power of the character in the CNS section. ("attack" parameter).
The default is 100, which means 100%. Every attack damage is multiplied by that every times mugen calculates damage.

The sad part is ALL attacks will be scaled if you modify this, but is easier than modifying evey hitdef.

Also, a lazy way of doing it for moves that have a lot of hitdefs (and you don't want to have to change the damage on each) is to make a -3 state controller that modifies your attack power based on what state you're in.
eg:
[state -3]
type = attackmulset
trigger1 = stateno = [your attacking state's number]
value = [what you want the damage multiplied by]

This won't work for moves using targetlifeadd to deal damage.
