How to get NullDc and CvS2 to work

really, i dont unerstand a crap, i unziped the rom (omg 700mb), and i started The emu, i have no idea how to load roms...

Pretty sure you have to mount the image with Daemon before you can load it with nullDC.

Depends which plugin you're using. Chankast insists on mounting the ISO, nullDC doesn't if you use their plugin (at least, mine doesn't).

Heres another thing about dreamcast chankast.

i think that pc dvd or cd drives can't read gd roms.

It's not the emulator you have to blame, but your PC drive.
You have to go through the pain of converting your games to ISO to be able to launch them, which I think is none trivial with DC games.

From the looks of it he downloaded the game and most likely have an iso. Heck, he doesn't even know the difference between a rom and an iso. <_<

You only need to mount the iso on a virtual drive. Get Daemontools or something similar.

I havent tryed to play games on Windows vista yet with but I did try with chankast since that was the best emu.

But yall said to get nullDC, Ok ill try that and ill get damentools again because i couldnt even figure it out so i said fuck it.

Ok i got Null DC have the dc bio files but it still says this : "dc_boot.bin"

what is this remember i havent messed with this in a year.

chankast doesn't work with vista (no hardware acceleration means bad sound skipping and slowdown)

you need to rename the boot IIRC

nulldc does not require any mounting just hit file and pick a boot option and then browse to the game

Yea ive tryed that because I have Jet Grind Radio the game cd in the drive right now and was woundering do i have to mount to get the iso to play?

because its not doing it on its own like it would with psx games that I have.

if i remember correctly, u can't use real dream cast games on emulators. i tried to do this with plasma sword but i then found out u could not do that. it think it was something about bootdisc or it not being able to be mounted as an image

Still I have tryed it with chankast and it said cant read TOC File. XD so what do I get now?

ok i dled xpadder for nulldc but the damn controls aint working 

I wonder why it said to keep xpadder up when the before playing the game.
