Hi. I am currently working on 2 chars, Mike Haggar and a suped-up Zangief. They are not quite finished yet, but I got inspired and decided to start a third char. To my knowledge, no one has even touched this franchise. Well, if any chars deserve to be mugenized, the ones from this series do. This will be the first. Enjoy.

If you can make him into a proper character he will be a gread add-on to mugen.
Mike Haggar and Zangief are interesting, but this guy could be great.
You should focus on him. Well if you want to that is.

This is Siegfried from Soul Calibur...and his big sword, Requiem. The head is Andy from RB. The torso is Hanzo/Galford, and the legs are Sieger (man, nothing new under the sun, is there). The sword is my edit. I'm no artist, but I think my other sword edits will fit the need. After I release him, anyone can improve him. I was asked in another forum about his fighting style, so I'll state that before anyone asks.
4 button config, with dir+button variations.
Standard guarding, no Block button.
Will include Guard Impact (Parry).
Not combo-driven, like Guilty Gear. More timing and counter, like Samurai Shodown.
Should be a beta within the year.

Great idea to edit him using Samurai Shodown edits, I like the way you used it to make Siegfried I hope more advances of him soon, as well from Haggar and Zangief

Not necessarily... since he has many type of swords, but all of them have giant blades. Those one  atomicbuster uses in his Siegfried I've seen in Soulcalibur 1 and 3, and that's the idea, a giant sword, isn't it??

If he does give him a Nightmare mode, then maybe he could edit the sword so he's holding Soul Edge.

True, true, but when I think about Siegfried with a Nightmare(-ish) mode, then I think about Soul Calibur II's Nightmare, wich is basicly Siegfried with Soul Edge. Plus I'm saying that if he's going to do that.

Oh, I thought you meant up instead of down.  Not away from his opponent instead of towards.

By SC3 Sieg and Mare are two different people. And no they don't share the same moves. Some moves are similar, but they're different. Period. Sieg has the classic Nightmare movelist and Nightmare is someone completely new (and cheap).

Whether he is holding Soul Edge or not, Siegfried != Nightmare.

Why don't we think about how atomicbuster is even going to sprite Siegfried properly so he does moves that Siegfried does before moving onto having another mode altogether.

That sword is called Requiem, and it appears in all the Soul Calibur games. In Soul Edge Sieg's sword is Faust, by Soul Calibur Sieg's sword is Requiem, and he uses it until SC3 (even though Siegfried wasn't really there in SC2, only Nightmare, but that's another story). Until SC4, where obviously he uses Soul Calibur according to his game artwork.

Enough about Nightmare mode, if you want me to make some pallets for Siegfried, then just give me the word.(and give me a sprite I can use for coloring )
