[Graphic Arts Contest][January 2008] Guns. Lots of guns.

Contest theme
Sometimes, fists doesn't do the job. when it comes to this, you will need to choose the right tool for it, but... and if it does not exist? YOU MAKE ONE!!! Get the Tony Stark that live inside you out and start designing new weapons: from swords and the good old revolver, to true Weapons of Mass destruction. And hey, who knows, some one might use them in MUGEN.

Contest Rules
Each contestant can submit as many sprites as he/she wants. The winner is decided by the total votes a contestant scores, based on all of his sprites.

You can submit your works until January 31st, 2008. The voting will be done in the following 15 days of the next month.

Use this thread to post your works/comments/etc.

Points - READ NOTE
1 extra points if the sprite has a simple animation, something like bouncing, hair movement or facial expression changes.
2 extra points if the animation is complex.
1 extra point if the sprite is in double res.
1 extra point if the sprite is "doubled" meaning that we can see both the front and the back of the sprite.
2 extra points if the sprite is open source.
1 extra point from scratch.

NOTE: Extra Points may not be given this time, given the nature of the contest. If I come up with a better excuse for extra points, I'll let the contestants know.

can i make a sprite of a char that uses his ass weapon? i mean...i just want to make a sprite without weapons of any kind (also because i'm anti-war, a non-violent and i think i'll endanger my karma if i'll draw a weapon).

There are still three weeks to wait for entries.



Still, I've noticed that everytime there's a cosplay contest of some sort entries keep raining in, while this and the december contest (both of which required thinking about something original) have very little partecipation (and lots of people completely missed the theme in the december one but that's another story). I might understand the fact that I myself chose the december contest, but the very same people who visit this board chose this one, so what the hell.
