Hey guys, I am on the verge of creating the ultimate lifebar (well... atleast in my opinion) I wanna know how to reduce the font that goes on the lifebars, (while keeping my current settings, I already know about double-res 4) I think it's called the name font. It's the font that has the characters name on it. I only want to reduce it a little bit not alot because I am using the Spider-Man 3 font (props to the creator) I am trying to fit it on the Virtua Fighter 5 health bars (proper respect given to this creator as well) so I just want it reduced enough to fit the VF5 bars. Is there a simple way to do this? Whether it is or isn't I want to try.

In addition to that I would like to know how to add sound to Win Icons that come on after a K.O. (Icons from MSH or Street Fighter) any help I can get on that... actually to make things easier I want to do the font first and get it out the way then do the Win Icons. Who ever got any suggestions I am all ears.

There is a video tutorial here:

I've never tried it myself, but a couple of the comments say his method worked for them.

I used that video before but when ever I loaded up Mugen I got this message "assert failure in spr-lib.c line 579" do not worry though, I finally figured out what the problem is for those people who want to know. The trick is in Irfanview the default resizer usually is set to "Resample (better quality)" I just set it to "Resize (faster)" and the new fonts load up perfectly. No biggy.

Just one problem though, that tutorial only teaches you how to reduce the fonts by half then divide them by 2. When ever I do it with the font I am using it becomes too small. What I would like to know is if I set the font to a decent size such as 1024 x 768 what number do I need to divide it by in order for it show up in Mugen correctly?
