Stick Fighters v0.1 Demo Release

Just wanted to release my game here.

Yes, it features only stick fighters. If you're not a fan of sticks, try it anyways!!!

It has a complex battle system, a video explaining how to play shall be made soon.

This demo only has 3 characters and 4 stages. The finished version will have 8 characters with around 10 stages.

I shall explain the battle systems here also.

This game uses only 2 buttons, A and B, with start button.

There is an "ougi system".

After you "release air", you are able to use the level 1 ougi, with 1 bar power.
After you become golden, you are able to use level 2 ougi, with 2 bar power.

To use an ougi, hit the enemy with ANY attack, and then combo it with A+B. (Meaning when the enemy is in a hurt state)

The energy bar is only used for ougis, Release Skills, and to teleport.

press A RIGHT before you are hit by anything to use teleport.

Press Enter to use your Release Skill. Every character has a different effect. They are self explanatory.

All skills can be linked. Every character has 5 skills total.

You can charge power. by holding down and A

Naaa, sorry. I want to prevent people from using these characters in other mugen, because these characters are only meant to be in this game. Thav have SLIGHTLY different stuff than normal coding, an example is that they have 3 icons/portraits.

Yes, I waited for this release in a long time, thanks alot, You have great coding skills, and pretty good and smooth animations, I like the way its simular to the Tales Of Series

The only thing annoying is the DBZ power up sound, I just hate it

I was going by the comments on the vid and the link was taking ages to load originally so I thought it was down but it must have been a lot of people using the proxy at the time. Now downloading

EDIT:

Ok, downloaded and I think its really good, only thing that does need improving is a way to tell identical characters apart, since characters look different by colour I guess palettes aren't an option, what about headbands?

Also just a small thing IMO, have them able to jump a bit higher and fall a bit slower but that's entirely up to you.

That is ridiculous. If he releases the characters by themselves, then there would be absolutely no reason for you to download his full game. Which is what this topic is about. A FULL GAME.

You must download the entire game, test the characters and provide feedback so that he can better improve his game. It's that simple. This conversation ends here.

Man, your game is TEH GREAT!! The animation of your stick-chaps flows like water through a stream! I'll bet all the animations are teh original, too!

One of best games ever. I'm not fan of sticks but gameplay is great. You really put much effort into this. Attacks, Moves, Anims, everything is awesome. Congrats and expect new stuff patiently.
