blur effect tutorial???

i was wondering if anyone has this tutorial for photoshop or paint cuz i would really like to add more UUuummmfff in my characters sprite animation

this has one big glaring flaw in it. Pallete. If you add a blur effect it must be done on a full colour sprite to get a proper blur. Applying that in your pallete = a lot of colours, cutting it down well is hard.

Blur also only really works well with a black tapering off and trans = A.

Use it on FX, not character sprites.
