There is a difference from creating a full game and just collecting a bunch of characters you think are nice. and Yes, in the past, people have done the same thing as you: they release a "full game" and said they made it ALL BY THEMSELVES, which is why they'll hate you. So if you actually plan to release it, call it a collection and i advise you to get permission from the original authors.
