Here is a problem alot of people including myself are having.... the problem is a THROW move.
i can successfully grab and throw the opponent, but why does the opponent dissapear during the whole throw?(apart from the land)
and is it something to do with not having certain axis points like this

(Not sure if i uploaded the images correctly)
if the pic isnt there ill explain...... kfm has an crosshair near his feet (normal) then for the same sprite near his stomach, then same again near his head.(for the get hit sprite) does not having these make a difference to making a successful throw?

Are you coding a throw move or are you talking about other characters?
For making a good thorw you need to use the required sprites, when putting opponent into a custom state you will have to use the required sprites as frames on the custom throw anim, because all characters sprites (the 5000 to something) should be about the same, so the outcome of the throw looks the same on all characters.
But for those who dont have those sprites they will just dissappear.
And also when coding a throw, the hit anim (changeanim in custom states) should be sctrl changeanim2, so p2 is trying to locate the anim frames in his own sff file (anim is the throwers tho).

If you are coding a throw post the code if you are having trouble.

at this point im not trying to code a throw, but a while ago i did code a throw and it worked just the opponent dissapeared.

After reading your response it seems that the problem is not having the required 5000+ sprites.

i now realise this was the problem, which seems such a simple but common mistake.

Thanks for your help man  :sugoi:
