Tekken 6 Expansion On The Way

Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will officially be unveiled at the Tokyo Amusement Show next month.  Said to be what Dark Res was to Tekken 5, we can expect anything from skinned stages, new costume parts, revised movelists, perhaps even a new character or two?

2 new characters: Lars Alexandersson, and Alisa Boskonovich.

Many new customisation items, as well as additional move items.  Also featured is the ability to edit characters' hairstyles.

Tekken 6: BR will represent the console release of the game, to be ported to PS3 and Xbox 360.  It is the first Tekken game to appear on a Microsoft console.  The game will arrive some time in the third quarter of 2009.

well, if THIS is what will come to the 360 (the game WITH the pack) then i dont mind, but come on give me my tekken 6 already

with that being said, just like MGS4...there WILL be no 360 version no matter how badly you want it. And if there was / will be, it'll probably wouldn't fit on them dinky 360 disc anyway.



yeah, i figured they were delaying the Console version for a reason...for this. It all makes sense now.

but when asked to confirm if the game would be exclusive to the PlayStation 3, his answer was this: "No. It hasn't been determined yet as of the moment, but we are developing it for PlayStation 3 so you can play it." When pressed about whether or not Tekken 6 would come to the 360, Suzaki said that currently, they "have no idea," but where else would they bring the title? The PC? The Wii? Either way, it seems that - unless Suzaki misinterpreted the exclusivity question, which would be tough to do - Tekken 6 can't be labeled as a PS3 exclusive.

Maybe it could really come to the 360. Needs a confirmation though.

It's possible they're planning a PSP release the same way they did T5:DR, which would still make it Sony exclusive at least.
Then again, what would be the point...

True, but since the Dreamcast port then the second one was on all three consoles (ps2,xbox,gamecube) with exclusive chars depending on the console version along with the newest SC game, how long has it been since then and when have we ever heard of any Tekken game being available outside of the playstation consoles?

Most people actually agree that Tekken 4 wasn't a good Tekken game. Why would you stop after playing that game?

Thankfully, it doesn't get worse than Heihachi in diapers.
T5 is kinda fun, Raven, Steve, Dragunov and Lee are nice, but some combo juggles are painful...I won't complain about T6 though, as long as it doesn't suck as much as SC4 (And from what I've seen at the arcades, it's far better)

I agree Tekken 4 was garbage and didn't offer much.

Tekken V DR IMO made up for that, anyone with a ps3 can find me online, Raven and Dragonouv are my faves.
Im happy to see them in the newest attraction.

Another thing, I hope they work on Lili some more, she is broke as fuck and I hate when users abuses her power consuming broken flip combos and swear they own. Thats like picking eddie or christie as a newbie player and thinking they got skills since you can randomly press a button and something good will happen. But again, Lili is far worse.

First Dragunov, then Caballero Rojo, now Alexanderson?  They're running out of ideas for names.  A new Boskonovich character will be interesting, given how the good Doctor played in T3.
