Not InuYasha

So I am going to try to a char for mugen that doesn't invole kfm...to much at least. I am a fan of the show InuYasha and I thought that would get me to work on this char without getting board with it. Now to get into some details.

I do not plan on this char to play just like from the game he is from, instead I will try to add different sets of moves. In a way you could say that he is one of those joke chars but not cheap...kind of like how P.o.t.S.'s Dan is...I think.  The sprites come from Kong and I am still looking into getting sounds Thanks goes to Bluecross for the sound rips.

With me being new to this, I will most likey ask a lot of questions, because all I have really made for mugen are stages.

Few move ideas I had in mind.

Reppuken God press maybe?
Road Roller type move(No)
A few fad type moves

This is the only thing I got done so far, hope its fine for now.

so he'll be full demon Inuyasha?

i have an older inuyasha on my mugen roster i always thought it'd be cool if could swap between using the sword and not uing it "put away or stuck into the ground"  and then having the ability to go full demon when his live is under 1/4 or something

It has crossed my mind about swithing between the two, but I think it would be a pain to code him to do it in the middle of battle. Now as to where you can pick one of the two before battle, might not be such a bad idea, but for now I will be sticking with just full demon for now. But thanks for the idea.

Hey its nothing big. Inuyasha seems to be a popular choice. Sesshomaru too as well. If only someone did more obscure IY chars like I did (lol Totosai). Well, Kikyo's not exactly obscure, and neither is Kagura, but you get the idea. The only sad thing is that most of the Inuyashas always end up incomplete.

its not a pain at all; just on and off variable. Give him a sword? Inyasha needs a sword to be Inuyasha

You wanna give Not InuYasha a sword? HE'S BREAKING YOUR RULES ON PURPOSE!

Not much but here I got him to walk now.


While messing around with the pals his eyes and part of his pants shared the same color, but I got the colors to spit, I change the eyes to a dfferent shade of red, so that is taken care of.

Also I need a little help with some of custom sprites, I need to know the right numbers for when he is hit by a thunder and ice type attack.

i gave shnitzel 7696 and 9010 for electric and 7990 for ice.

i was told those where common numbers but there may be other commons

alright thanks. That sounds about right, and If I recall I think Wanrer's chars had those states as well I could check the numbers with chars too.

He should pick up the sword in his time over pose to change into Normal Inuyasha.

Also, consider Melty Blood hitsparks.

The only thing is that I would have to go in and edited the sprite where he looks normal without a shirt. I'm not very good with making sprites.

As for the Melty Blood hitsparks, I never have played the game, but I will be sure to check it out, thanks for the ideas.
