Problem with FF

I think something is wrong with my fighter factory.

Every single time I add in any new sound (for a character I'm working on), it either says:
A) Cannot load *.snd file (when I try to test the character).

or

B) The fighter factory itself shuts down when I try to SELECT the sound file.

I tried redownloading it, but it didn't fix the problem at all.

Strangly enough, this only just started happening recently.
Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this?

Please tell me you're not using the embedded "elecbyte template" It's fucked. Delete it so you're never tempted to use it again.

You would be well served to copy paste the contents of your .cns and .air and .cmd into all new files.

Add your .snd manually to the .def by opening it in wordpad. Lastly, sound format maxes out at 44100mhz for .snd files. Above that, they kinda break.

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

Chronojiuj

I NEVER use the template. KFM has everything I need to start a new character.

Copy and pasting didn't work.

I already tried adding the .snd to my .def... it doesn't work either. The sound format I use is usually less than that of which you have stated.

Its strange, because it does it with every-single character I try to edit. Even ones that I don't own (personal edits).

I would query your FF download then. I know it has issues, you may have a bad copy. I think i got lucky, many other's haven't. Try a redownload as well.

Failing that. Export a sound from one characters .snd and add it to another characters .snd. If that works, it's something to do with your sound format.

Yes i do. Everybody damn well uses the stupid thing then we have to field questions about characters crashing.

Read the FAQ people. Don't touch the fucking elecbyte template.

That is kind of weird. Cause I use it and the only problem I have ever had with it is the corrupt 5300 (Dizzy) anim.

The char I've been working with is 7z's Piccolo.
