Or you can make that the censorship can be turned on and off by the users.

Now that'd be a cool feature.  I'm surprised I haven't seen it implemented on any forums I've been to before.  Can it be done easily enough?
Still quite busy.

(Yes, I intend to deal with that stuff eventually, but kinda can't just yet, sorry. :/ )

Nunor

Everyone would turn it off i suppose...
Still it's pretty easy to do.

Valodim

It's not useful, turn it off and that's it.

If it's possible to let people choose themselves what they want to see or not, then give them the choice - it's better than having someone else decide for you anyway...

Sepp

... and there are also people complaining about censoring at the board.

So, an option for every user to choose sounds like a good compromise.

The word censor is now implemented as optional.
By default it's activated, but you can disable it in your profile.

Anyway abuse of language should be subject to warning.

shit i did it :P

Artisto

Personally, I think this a really good idea, although be warned that you will still get those people saying... "why was THIS censored", and "I can believe they can show THIS." It's a small price, but it is a very nice feature that will appease the masses, I guess.
Bailan en la playa!

walt

so... are we mods supposed to edit out the foul language in posts ?

is this new implementation like a "not anymore"? ???

Like we always did... but not when the post brings something interesting.

Ridelle Black

Define "interesting", my dear BJ.

Nunor

What i mean is punish the abuse. You don't need to edit posts anymore.

do all members have access to the custom user title or only staff members?

All members have access for creating custom titles. Take a look at my custom title for example.
