Hey guys im planning on making ufc characters and i want to start off with kimbo slice, Anderson silva and quinton "Rampage" jackson. I suck at making characters so Help would be wonderful but i just want to start a new section in mugen. Message back if you are interested. Thanx

Lmao. i can edit balrog completely for kimbo. cody for rampage and sagat(shrink him of course) for silva. Add some moves them BAM!!! eventually brock lesner will be created but im juz using these 3 to start off with. i got plans but may take a really long time cuz i suck at sprite editing so im gonna take my time with this one.

About time, cause Silva knocked him out a couple of times previous, before Wanderlei got old and punch drunk.

i dunno i think times have changed but i dont think it has anything to do with silva being punch drunk or old..

ive seen his training methods (snorkel that limits oxygen intake, to simulate high altitude) he is in great shape, i think its more along the lines of rampage has got better and is better at boxing skills now.

i mean dont forget silva KO'd jardine with a rape hold lol....in the first round.

styles make fights.. Silva looses to liddell but ko's jardine and jardine beats liddell, rampage beats liddel *TWICE* and now silva..does that mean jardine will beat rampage XD yea that last one was a joke.

I'm not buying it. Silva has had about the right amount of fights that fighters begin to lose their ability to take shots. And it isn't like Rampage wasn't hitting Silva in their previous fights. In fact, the 2nd fight I thought sure that Jackson was going to knock Silva out early in that fight because his boxing was much improved. He had way better, classic boxing defense, instead of that MMA defense with the hands too low, and his punches were straighter with better combination punching. And yeah, Silva had knocked out Jardine, but Keith sure as heck isn't knockout proof and slightly overrated due to a couple of good wins after the reality show. But Silva had also been on a downward spiral for the past 3 years, losing fights in Pride and the UFC. I don't argue that Quinton hasn't gotten better. But I argue that he would have beaten Silva in Silva's heyday, basically, because he didn't. Jackson has had some personal problems, and maybe he wasn't even at his best and still beat Silva...I don't know. All I know, on a personal level, is that I'm glad Jackson did win. When he lost to Silva the 2nd time, it was a DEVASTATING loss, I mean he took some knees at the end of that fight that could have, and most fighters it would have, ended his career, at least as far as being competitive. Quinton is a great guy, and a super nice guy that embraces fans and really doesn't have a bully mentality (which is damn hard not to have being a mega bad ass). He is almost the opposite of a Ken Shamrock, as far as personality, which is a good thing. And sorry to get way the hell off subject, but I write about this stuff, or used to anyways, it's my 3rd love... And I wish someone could make some kick ass chars for Mugen, don't know how 2d gameplay could work for these guys, or who could do it. I know there is a kick ass project going on for Victorious Boxers for MUGEN.

Oh, one more point about Silva and Jackson, and the UFC; the cage is a HUGE factor for Silva as well, coming from the Pride ring. A guy that prefers stand up and isn't used to being crowded into those solid cage walls, it's a big time adjustment coming into (or back to in Silva's case) the octagon. I think Fedor, being a very complete fighter both on his feet and on the ground will make a much smoother transaction to the UFC. Doesn't hurt that he's the best MMA fighter I've ever seen, that's including the great Rickson Gracie and Frank Shamrock the two best I'd seen before Fedor.
