Hi. I have a few questions for some of the veteran type mugen programmers here that I hope I can ask and get some very helpful feedback for. I'm sure that this question's been asked before but I didn't see anything quite like it, so I'm sorry if I'm asking any questions that were already answered. If that's the case, please point me to the right place! Any help is appreciated.  ;D

First, after making sprites, what should I work on first as far as programming goes? Palettes, Commands, Definitions, Animations, etc? Which is the easiest to work on? After reading those "advanced" documents that come with MUGEN, my head hurted!  :wall:  --;  can anybody break down what exactly "changestate" etc, and all that stuff in the CNS & CMD file means?  :( Thanks for any help...

My site, try out the narutorials. Alternatively i have another tutorial on this site in the tutorials section.

Your last point of reference ought to be Kung Fu Man inside your characters folder. Most of his .cns and .cmd are pretty well documented. Air file is pretty straight forward.

There is an official elecbyte tutorial within mugen\docs\tutorials you might find that worth a read as well.

In M.U.G.E.N there is no magic button

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

I'm looking into the narutorials, but most of the links and info in the tutorials thread of TMFG are broken/outdated...  --;
