quick question

Ok i know this is entirely possible i just can't seem to make it work.

I am building a gambit, with a mix of his and Shin Gouki's move set. and i know you can edit the CMD file, but i pretty sure you would have to edit the CNS file too am i correct?

any help you guys could lend would be awesome.

also anytime i load a character into my aireditor it crashes, any solutions?

use fighter factory.

Right, it has a magic button to create a character with all the moves you want.
OR you could actually try to do it normally. Text editor to build the .cmd, .air, .def and .cns files, then also text editor + SprMaker to build the .sff.
Oh, and you also have to learn Mugen coding too.
