low res Sprites into high res

How can i convert low resolution sprites into high res without pixelating it? and how can i convert a gif animation pic into any other pic format the photoshop understands?

Low res to hi-res : ... redraw it ?
Animation : extract the frames with some tool such as Irfan View.

if i knew what is redrawing it means i wouldnt have asked :)

so do any one know where to download high resolution sprites for screen pack purposes?

Redrawing as in putting colored pixels side to side with other colored pixels so that it makes a line and a shape and a sprite what do you expect drawing means on a computer ?? Use MSPaint, Paint Shop Pro, Photo Shop or Gimp, pick the paintbrush tool and get your hands dirty.

Check this.

I know of three ways.

The hard and best. Draw freehanded and scan then color.

The way Remix did it. Resize. Use the darkest color of an area. Like the arm then fill it in with the darkest color making it one solid color. Do this with each part of the sprite. Then add back in the detail.

The way I've been playing around is like this. Resize, use a vector program to make a vector trace, add back some detail and color.

So what the fuck exactly are you expecting ? That there's a magic tool that can automatically convert anything to hi-res ? There's nothing. Why the fuck do you think I told you this in the first place ? Because that's how you do it. If you don't like the answer, though luck, you're never going to have what you want, but don't tell "you don't understand the topic" to someone who did give you the only answer there is. Dipshit.

Byakko's original response was obviously not on your wavelength. It happens. Your response was reasonable when considered ONLY from that perspective. It was unreasonable in every other sense.

Byakko's response to this was also unreasonable. Turning the other cheek is important.

Byakko's answer WAS correct. If you want a low res sprite to look good in hi res you have to draw the whole thing again. Nothing else works.

Please don't act hard done by, you're both at fault now drop it.

Do you mean that jedah drawn this stage all over again? that's what i'm asking about the original kof xi stage is not that high resolution so what i'm asking is how did he do that?

You resize the sprite then edit it by hand in any image editing program (MS paint, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, etc).
